Career-focused projects
Learning through real-world practice
Career-focused experience rooted in the realities of the profession
At ENAAI, professional preparation is at the heart of the programme from the very first year. Through an immersive, practice-based approach, students develop their artistic world and their technical skills through hands-on projects, creative productions, workshops, work placements and collaborations with professionals from the fields of image, animation and illustration.
This gradual immersion in the realities of the sector allows them to build their expertise, assert their creative identity and prepare for the demands of the artistic and visual industries before entering working life.
Immersive projects
Workshops
Bringing to life projects drawn from real challenges in the creative sector.
At the heart of ENAAI's teaching approach, workshops give students the chance to measure themselves against the expectations of professionals in image, animation and illustration. Guided by specialist tutors, they imagine, develop and present creative responses through individual or group projects inspired by the realities of the profession.
Sustainable Design Workshop
This workshop invites students to explore the challenges of sustainable design through a creative, experimental approach. Reusing materials, making the most of dormant stock, creating patterns or researching new materials: every project is a chance to question contemporary design practice and to imagine more responsible visual solutions.
Stop Motion Workshop
As part of their animation training, students discover the stop motion technique, a frame-by-frame process that brings objects and characters to life. From writing the script to producing the storyboard, they work as a team to design a complete animation combining storytelling, staging and visual experimentation.
Photography Workshop
This workshop introduces students to the fundamentals of photography so that they can showcase their visual worlds and creative projects. Composition, light, framing and staging become essential tools for presenting their artistic and graphic work effectively.
Webinars and masterclasses
Talks and masterclasses punctuate life at ENAAI, exploring careers in image, animation, illustration and visual creation. Led by authors, animators, concept artists and other industry professionals, these encounters offer a concrete insight into how these careers are evolving, into creative practice, and into the paths that shape today's visual worlds.
Comics Masterclass
Each year, during the Chambéry Comics Festival, ENAAI hosts a masterclass led by a comics author. This special opportunity for discussion offers an insight into the behind-the-scenes of the profession, into artistic career paths and into the different stages of creation specific to the world of comics and illustration.
CSR Masterclass
This masterclass, dedicated to careers in creation and design, addresses the environmental, social and accessibility issues at the heart of contemporary practice. Faced with the constant evolution of the creative industries, it raises students' awareness of how to build responsibility, inclusion and sustainability into the design of their visual and artistic projects.
